Overview

QSFP28-100G-LR4-10KM is a 100G QSFP28 optical transceiver for 100GBASE-LR4 links up to 10 km on single-mode fibre. It is compliant with the QSFP28 MSA Technical Specifications, with IEEE802.3ba 100GBASE-LR4 optical specifications, and its low speed electrical signal is compliant with SFF-8679 while the high speed electrical signal is compliant with 802.3bm CAUI-4.

The module integrates four transmitters, four receivers and an optical MUX/DeMUX into a compact QSFP28 footprint, delivering up to a 112 Gb/s data link. The transmitter is a 4 x 25 Gb/s DFB-based LAN-WDM type with central wavelengths in the 1300 nm range, the optical interface is a pair of duplex LC receptacles, and power dissipation is below 4 W from a single 3.3 V supply.
