Description

Overview

The SG6151 GPON/EPON ONU is a WiFi 5 optical network unit that carries data, voice and TV for the same subscriber. It terminates a single SC/APC PON uplink and combines two gigabit Ethernet ports, one POTS voice port, a CATV RF output, dual USB ports and dual-band WiFi in one desktop unit, so internet, telephony, video and wireless service all arrive over one fibre drop.

It accesses mainstream GPON and EPON OLTs and is tested for interworking with Fiberhome AN5516, ZTE C220/C300/C320/C600 and Huawei MA5600/MA5680/MA5800 platforms. Voice runs over SIP with IMS compatibility, G.711 / G.722 / G.729 codecs and T.30 / T.38 fax support, the CATV port supports remote management of the RF output, and the data side covers bridge, router and mixed modes, NAT, ALG, UPnP, DMZ, DHCP/DHCPv6, PPPoE, static IP, 4K VLAN and IPv4/IPv6 dual stack; WEB, TELNET, CLI, OAM, OMCI and TR069 handle remote management.

The unit measures 205 × 136 × 24 mm, weighs under 250 g without its adapter, runs on 12 V 1.5 A and consumes less than 12 W. Front indicators cover PWR / PON / LOS / 5 GHz WiFi / 2.4 GHz WiFi / LAN1-2 / FXS / WPS / USB1-2 / CATV, and an operating range of −5 °C to +45 °C at 10 % to 90 % non-condensing humidity suits desktop or cabinet installation in subscribers’ premises.
