Supports ONT plug-and-play activation, batch ONT configuration and remote upgrade.
Description
Overview
The QT7002 2-Port GPON OLT is a compact, low-density box-type optical line terminal built for FTTH and enterprise access networks where rack space and port density requirements are modest. It delivers a GPON-based passive optical network for ISPs, government institutions, business parks, hotels, schools and enterprise users.
Each unit provides 2 GPON service ports with a maximum 1:128 split ratio per port, combined with 1×10GE SFP+ and 4×10/100/1000M auto-negotiation uplink ports. Paired with GPON ONTs, it builds a full-fibre access network carrying broadband, VoIP, IPTV, video and CATV services over a passive outside plant — reducing operating cost.

Key Features
Easy operation and maintenance
- Zero-configuration, ready to use — ONT self-discovery and plug-and-play for rapid subscriber activation.
- Guided activation — four steps complete device management and service provisioning.
- In-band management with CLI, Telnet and web-based network management.
- Batch ONT remote upgrade and batch ONT configuration templates (DBA / VLAN / PoE).
High reliability
- Operates from -20 °C to +55 °C; storage -40 to 85 °C; humidity 10–95%.
- Dual redundant power supply — automatically switches to the standby supply if the primary one fails, reducing the risk of downtime.
- 2 kV port lightning protection and 6 kV power supply lightning protection.
- Dual mirroring software for backup.
Powerful networking features
- Remote restart of PSE equipment — remotely reboot a faulty terminal AP or camera for troubleshooting.
- Any ONT device under the same PON can achieve Layer 2 data forwarding.
- Layer 3 communication through VLAN routing.
- Supports 512 concurrent VLANs with VLAN Transparent/Tag/Trunk mode.
- IGMP v2/v3 with IGMP snooping and 512 concurrent multicast groups.
- Loop detection, port rate limit, ingress/egress/both-stream mirroring, IEEE 802.x flow control, port statistics and monitoring.
Flexible deployment and fast access
- Suited to SMB scenarios of 128–256 network points, avoiding waste caused by low port-resource requirements.
- Suited to low-density area coverage, park and school campus access — flexible deployment and fast service turn-up.
Optical power detection and link monitoring
- Uplink port, PON port and batch ONT optical parameter detection.
- Network management monitors optical link indexes and traffic statistics on all service ports, with automatic alarms when link indexes degrade.
- Long-luminescence ONT detection.

Deployment Scenarios
The QT7002 is deployed as the access-layer OLT in a range of all-optical network scenarios:
- FTTH all-optical network — residential broadband access.
- Hotel and apartment plans — television, computer and telephone services to guest rooms.
- Park and campus office networks — WiFi, telephony and computer access across buildings.
- Smart building solutions — access control management, access controller, parking-lot management and barrier-gate control.
- Hospital all-optical networks — television, computer, telephone and printer services.
