Description

Overview

The NDS3228S is a professional multi-channel HD/SD audio and video encoding device supplied with 8, 16 or 24 HDMI inputs. Every 8 HDMI ports share one encoder module, and each module provides 1 MPTS and 8 SPTS output, giving a high integration design for cable TV digital head-ends and digital TV broadcasting.

Each input is encoded to MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 at 1 – 13 Mbps with CBR or VBR rate control, and audio is encoded as MPEG-1 Layer 2, LC-AAC or HE-AAC with AC3 pass-through and gain adjustment from 0 to 255. Output is carried over IP using UDP and RTP/RTSP, an optional ASI port mirrors the MPTS, and the platform supports QR code, LOGO and caption insertion together with null packet filtering.
