Description

Overview

The NDS3528S is a professional high integration device that includes encoding, multiplexing and modulating in one box, measuring 482mm x 328mm x 44mm (W x L x H). It supports 8 HDMI inputs and DVB-C or DVB-T RF out with 4 adjacent carriers, plus 4 MPTS out as mirror of the 4 modulation carriers through the DATA (GE) port. The unit is intended for small CATV headend systems and for hotel TV, entertainment, hospital and apartment distribution systems.

Each HDMI input is encoded to MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 video with a bit rate of 1Mbps to 13Mbps and CBR or VBR rate control, and audio is encoded as MPEG-1 Layer 2, LC-AAC or HE-AAC with AC3 pass through and adjustable gain. The 4 output channels are multiplexed with PID remapping and PSI/SI editing and inserting, then modulated into 4 DVB-C or DVB-T carriers combined on one RF output. LOGO, OSD and QR code insertion is available for every local channel, and control and firmware updates are performed through the web interface.
