The XRT-002 is a horizontal in-line optical splice closure in ABS with IP65 protection, 2in 2out oval and round cable ports and capacity up to 144cores on 24core trays.

Overview
The XRT-002 is a horizontal (in-line) optical splice closure used for direct connection and large capacity discontinuous connection of optical fibre cable. It protects the cable joint and meets the construction requirements for laying optical fibre cables underground, in pipelines and in wells.
The shell is moulded from high strength engineering plastic with an anti-aging agent and sealed mechanically, giving a black ABS housing with IP65 protection level. Cable entry is 2in 2out, capacity runs from 12cores up to 144cores, and the closure can be mounted on a pole or buried.
