Open Line System

The Open Line System category gathers the building blocks that form the optical line side of an ANKVI DWDM network: EDFA erbium-doped fiber amplifier cards that compensate span loss across the C band, NMS network control management cards that link the OSP3800 chassis to the OTN management system, and OLP optical line protection cards that switch traffic between primary and backup routes. Together they cover amplification, supervision and protection on long-distance lines.
