Overview
The OBA Card is the Optical Boost Amplifier Module of a DWDM system. It delivers a versatile, low-noise solution for erbium-doped fibre amplification in a highly integrated, compact module.
It operates with constant gain (Automatic Gain Control, AGC) and constant output power (Automatic Power Control, APC). The large-format module supports dual amplifiers with two independent gain units and occupies only 1/4 standard slot capacity.
